This project allowed me to deeply understand how users approach financial platforms, especially when performing simulations involving personal financial planning. It highlighted how sensitive users are to friction when dealing with numbers or financial calculations — even small confusions could lead to mistrust or drop-offs.By simplifying the credit simulation journey into clear, guided steps and making essential information easily digestible, the revamp successfully improved task success rates and reduced cognitive load.Another key learning was the importance of balancing business goals with user-centric design. While MTF wanted to push product offerings, ensuring clarity, trust, and user control were crucial to driving engagement and conversions.Lastly, building a scalable design system set the foundation for future product expansion — making collaboration between design, content, and tech teams more efficient.
